Project Description
I turned around a neglected Google Ads account for a custom earplug brand, achieving 6 months of consistent growth. By implementing a precise Exact Match structure and feeding the algorithm Customer Match lists of closed deals, I eliminated waste and scaled performance to 425 conversions at a $58.28 CPL on a $24.8k monthly spend.
The Goal
The primary objective was to breathe life back into a stale, underperforming Google Ads account for a specialized custom earplug brand. The client needed to reverse months of "algorithmic neglect" and transition the account from a passive state into a high-efficiency lead and sales generator.
The Challenge
This project presented a complex technical and strategic pivot:
Infrastructure Overhaul: We had to implement a fully optimized Shopping feed for an account that focuses solely on appointments, creating a potential risk of a short-term sales dip during the transition.
Data Scarcity: The account lacked consistent, high-quality historical data, meaning we were essentially performing a total makeover on a stale foundation with no reliable baseline for the AI to follow. Also, the account was optimized for lower-value conversions like page views and clicks. We needed to start on a new data foundation.
The Result
Sustained Growth: Achieved consistent, month-over-month growth in conversion volume for six consecutive months.
Scaled Efficiency: Managed a budget of $24.8k to deliver 425.06 conversions at a stable cost per conversion of $58.28.
Engagement: Drove over 4.4k high-intent clicks to the site, successfully transitioning the brand from a stagnant state to a market-active competitor.
